Raw and living foods are our specialty. Raw foods are not cooked. These foods are all plant-based foods which provide our bodies with enzymes and nutrients for healthy living. In preparing our raw foods, we never "cook" the food. Some raw foods are heated, but the temperature stays below 118°. We know you are going to love the culinary delights our chef creates.
About the Chef
Vinnette Thompson is a classically trained Chef. She earned her culinary arts degree from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and has been working in the culinary field for more than 25 years. Vinnette has always had two culinary passions, vegetarian food and culinary education. Hippocrates and Sublime have both had the opportunity to use her services as a Chef. In Pasadena, California, she owned Macrobiotic Meals to go, a private chef service for clients choosing a macrobiotic or vegetarian diet. She loves teaching and has taught culinary arts across the country in various venues.
